A really short post for Friday. Here is a flick for Chanel’s 2012 Metiers d’Arts collection Bombay Express, which was shown earlier this year. Each year the house designs a collection to show case the craftsmen behind their jewellery, embroidery and buttons. On the 27th June Chanel’s capsule collection of make-up inspired by the show arrives in store. It includes a gold flecked nail polish called Diwali, a soft, honey-pink lipstick, a rich, graphite cream eye shadow (to add their fantastic Illusion d’Ombre eye shadows, with their a bouncy mousse texture, which you apply with an angled brush provided to line or shade your eyes) and a golden powder blush imprinted with a paisley pattern. And of course a khol eye pencil – what would a make-up collection inspired by India be without it?
