Wo – Pendleton’s Gold. Could it be the nails? No of course not. But one thing’s for sure, brightly coloured nails are rather popular this Olympics. For the Brits it’s red, white and blue on alternate nails (the Volleyball girls, natch) or Union Jacks (that’s an Adlington touch). Nails Inc Union Jack nail wraps (they’re like transfers, fun and easy to apply) are just the ticket, and also the red, white and blue nail polishes as a kit.
The trend is not just relegated to the Brits. There’s been orange (off putting surely?), pink (same?). And if nothing else, it’s idle fun, spotting the sporty manicure.
Product placement? Perhaps. Like the effect? Definitely.
