Following on from my Nina Ricci couture film clip here is the new scent it heralded, Nina L’Eau. Like its predecessor Nina, this is a lovely first scent. It’s less sugary more fruity, fresh, watery – apples, mandarin, cherry and a water accord, which yes, you can smell – and its bottle is irresistible. Were my Goddaughters old enough, this would be winging its way to one of them. Perfumer Olivier Cresp created it. He is a master of scent making, especially youthful scents. He created Scarlett for Cacharel, which is another lovely first scent (exceptional bottle).
